Activity Report: Walk for Breast Cancer Awareness

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This was our walk to raise awareness, and to honor those who have fought or are fighting this disease. Two of our women who are currently fighting this disease walked with us; they had plenty of community support and lots of hugs. Even though it was raining, we had a good turnout.

Creative Features:
Since we live in the rain forest, we advertised that we will walk "rain or shine." People brought umbrellas and wore their "Xtra tuff" boots. Our magistrate posted on Facebook and called us Xtra tuff walkers, since we walked in the rain.
