The Presidential Challenge

Program Purpose
The President's Challenge is a program in which you can join others in staying fit. The BBAHC, Diabetes Program has made a partnership with the President's Challenge to make fitness and the health of all individuals a priority.

Program Key Features
Simply log on each day and enter your physical activity minutes. Activities can range from picking berries, chopping wood, hauling water, dancing, walking, biking, aerobics, yoga, to gardening. Accumulate activity points for selected activities and minutes participated. * 20,000 points equals a certificate, bronze medal and t-shirt. * 45,000 points equals a certificate, medal and t-shirt. * 80,000 points equal a certificate, medal and t-shirt. Photo at each achievement is taken by personnel and displayed on the wall as the "Fit of the Fittest". Recognition gathering at 4 months to provide recognition of accomplishments. Optional health screening before and post...blood pressure, weight, blood sugar, waist circumference, and body mass index.
