Program Description
Weekly walking program for 6 weeks, people with diabetes, prediabetes and their families
Program Purpose
To encourage activity, and further control of diabetes.
Program Key Features
Encourage walking, Increase steps slowly, Facilitate blood sugar control, and encourage weight loss and physical fitness.
Most Excited About
This is a family program, which will help participants prevent or delay and control diabetes
Program Location
Meet in the Lifestyle Balance Office (diabetes) downtown, and walk to various points. Occasionally the walks will involve driving to the walking place.
