They will be preparing for a challenge to participate moving for 30 minutes straight - "MOVE IT, MOVE IT, MOVE IT!" between Nov. 21st & 22nd during their scheduled time with the Guidance Program at RJ Elementary School.

Program Description
Grades 1 - 6 are challenged to get physical exercise every day for at least 60 minutes. They will be preparing for a challenge to participate moving for 30 minutes straight - "MOVE IT, MOVE IT, MOVE IT!" between Nov. 21st & 22nd during their scheduled time with the Guidance Program at RJ Elementary School.

Program Purpose
The purpose is to teach them proper nutrition and the importance of daily exercise to prevent Diabetes. Also, that they can stay healthy and strong and develop healthy habits.

Program Key Features
Students will receive instruction on eating right, exercising and having fun with the use of the MyPyramid For Kids posters and curriculum. This will be reinforced in the classrooms, as well as in P.E., after they receive instruction through Guidance Curriculum.

Most Excited About
The challenge to get out and do some physical activities every day - on their own, and get ready for the challenge to move for 30 minutes straight.
