The 100 mile club is a walking club. Every year we do different programs to get people out & walking. Last year we had people do a virtual walk. Participants walked from reservation to reservation - earning incentives along the way.

Program Purpose:
The purpose of our activity programs is to get the community involved in a health program. Also to educate the community on the many benefits of exercise, especially it's use in combating type II diabetes.

Program Key Features:
Every year is a bit different. All participants check in once a week. They are all given logs to record their progress. This year they were given step counters and were encouraged to count their steps. It was called the 10k a day program.

Most Excited About:
Community involvement. Getting people thinking and talking about exercise.
