Running is My High * March 13th, 2010
A group of folks from our Walking Spirit team went to Running is My High. They completed the 5K walk & the 10K run around Lake Merritt in Oakland. Some walked and some ran. They left for Oakland from San Jose at 7:30 am, and the race began at 9 am. Ramin Naderi, CWO Director, coordinated this group with the San Jose Native Youth Group so that a group of about 10 were able to attend the race.
The happy warriors returned with sore feet but overall were energized!
